Apple Crumble Cheesecake
I really liked the apple layer in this. It was nice to have it as part of the actual cheesecake, rather than just as a topping. This involved making a crumble for the topping too, which was a nice touch.

Peanut butter crispy clusters
These were very tasty, but are probably the only recipe I’ve made so far that I wouldn’t make again. These involve sourcing and paying for a lot of Reese’s products. Am not sure it’s worth the effort and expenditure for the finished result.

Millionaire’s Shortbread
A classic for a reason and Kieran’s favourite bake. This was the first thing I made from this book and kicked off my enthusiasm for baking from this book. Delicious shortbread, homemade caramel and gorgeous chocolate on top.

Triple chocolate cornflake roll
I really love anything made with cornflakes, so I loved this. Though I will note that it was impossible to cut once it had been in the fridge.

Ferrero Roacher and Nutella Brownies
This is an absolute chocolate hazelnut fest. This involves making brownies, a Nutella caramel, and chocolate ganache all layered with digestives and Ferrero Rocher on top. I absolutely loved this.

Rocky Road
This recipe involves making your own nougat, which I’ve never made before and turned out really well. The base was supposed to be mars bars and snickers, but I used the glut of Christmas chocolates I had left over and this worked out really well.

Milkybar and Mini Eggs Millionaire Shortbread
I always use salt in all my sweet bakes and I made sure to use it generously here as I knew this was going be a sweet one. So the homemade caramel had some added salt and I also sprinkled some sea salt across the top of these. I really loved the mini egg shortbread base but think this would have been nicer with dark chocolate, but that’s just personal taste.
